Collins Mbesuma (joint PSL top scorer) after yesterday’s game –
“First of all I have to help the team and the most important thing is the team, and individual accolades comes after,” says Mbesuma, who plundered an unmatched 35 goals for Kaizer Chiefs in 2004/05.
“We need to finish in the top three and win trophies. As a striker you have to think to score every chance you get in every game.
The coach said, ‘You are my experienced player and you have been in football,’ and now we got a good relationship and he is helping me a lot.”
The 31-year-old also stressed the importance of looking after one’s body.
“The age is just a number as long as you are keeping yourself in check; keep training and the sky is the limit,” Mbesuma says.
“You have to look after your body. The more you are getting older, the more you have to look after your body. Details [of what you eat] and work hard… it is not easy.”
Muhsin Ertugral Aces coach on Mbesuma injury –
“He took a bad injury and a little bit on the muscle and we will see how it goes,” says the Turk.
“I wanted to take him off five minutes earlier but I kept him in because he was putting the pressure on so hopefully he doesn’t have a muscle injury.”

zamfoot.. chipolopolo die hards stomed your facebook page and called u names for copying their news and not crediting them as the source. i hope u have sorted out the issue?
And who are these so called Chipolopolo die hards?? Every Zambian soccer fan as far as I know(i.e. including you my brother paradox) is a Chipolopolo die hard, no doubt about that.
When Zambia plays even old women and men in the villages do follow and support the team. It has been like this all along.
That is why football is like a religion in our country, we just love our team, even when they are not doing well
Cheers
