Hapoel Ra’anana release Luchanga and Kola

Zambian strikers Rogers Kola and Conlyde Luchanga have been released by Israeli club Hapoel Ra’anana.

The ZamFoot Crew understands that the duo have failed to meet expectations after spending less than a season at the club.

Kola signed a five year deal with KAA Gent of Belgian in 2012 where he spent two seasons before he was loaned out to clubs in Israel and Greece before returning to Israel this season.

He made 14 league appearances for Ra’anana this season without scoring a goal in the league.

Aside from a few months in the PSL, the 27 year old has spent all his professional career in Europe since returning from the U20 World Cup in 2007.

Luchanga on the other hand only made his break into Europe at the start of the 2016/2017 season.

The 20 year old who was part of the U20 Africa Cup winning squad made six league appearances for the club but failed to find the net.

He however had a goal to his name in the domestic cup competition with his one appearance.

Kola has been linked with a move to East Africa while Luchanga will return to Lusaka Dynamos.

Zambian left full back Emmanuel Mbola remains a key player for Ra’anana.

    • Luchanga and young Sunzu were rushed to Israel. With shorts down to knees, I knew tapali ifimo.
Roger Kola should have turned to be a defender, like Stophila. Anyway its too late.

  1. East Africa ! come on Kola, Zesco and Zanaco are in the group stages of their competition, Zesco were semi finalists in last year’s champions league, the local league has now attracted the largest number of foreign players ever hosted, we are now employing the most qualified coaches ( uefa pro ) ever ! where in East Africa is it happening like back home for the revival of your career. Come back home !

  2. Luchanga was rushed both at National Team Level and Europe. Let him start all over again. The boy still has alot to offer to Zambian Football.

  3. I think East Africa might just be noted teams. their sponsorships are equally stable. Yanga, Simba Gormia in kenya can be as well a stepping stone to gwt a place say at Zesco n Zanaco. limbi ku Nkana .

  4. Kola my boy…pass through Oslo for some nsima, my family enjoyed your stay last time around. Zanaco and Zesco are your size, get home, do some thinking and regroup. You have a lovely attitude with loads of respect for people…its all about relaxing and planing for your last seven years at the highest level…!

  5. @ mambwe,
I don’t think teams in east africa can match our local clubs financially.
The simple example I can give you is idriss mbombo who was offered a record transfer fee of $ 150, 000 by lusaka dynamos . But this offer was turned down. With additional atractive monthly allowance.
Zambian clubs are now able to buy players contracts from all over africa and beyond, This season should be the highest in terms of transfer fees by Zambian clubs

  6. we told Lusaka dynamos let luchanga remains at Power dynamos coz power is a big team and kwaliba competition they refused now you see what happened tamuli ashamed of yourself, damn

    • Do you understand now why coach Chambeshi “silver” didn’t use Luchanga as much as you wanted in the tournament? The boy has lost touch in Israel, but he is young, so with good attitude and desire,he will come back stronger and better. Its all on him now to prove wrong to his critics and the team that offloaded him.

  7. Luchanga like patson daka needed to spend at least 2 seasons at power dynamos. Patson can now compete even in europe. Luchanga was wrongly dvised
