Green Eagles appeal to FAZ over Young Green Eagles use of an ineligible player

In a turn of events, as confusion continues following the just ended MTN/FAZ Super League as Green Eagles are anticipating three points from the boardroom to help them qualify for the CAF Confederation Cup, the ZamFoot Crew understands.

The ZamFoot Crew understands that Green Eagles lodged a complaint with FAZ over the use of an eligible player by Young Green Eagles during their week 30 encounter.

According to ZamFoot Crew sources, Young Green Eagles used Samson Chilupe on 12th May 2021 at Khosa stadium in Kafue, a player who is on loan from Green Eagles to Young Green Eagles even when the contract indicates that the player was not going to play against his parent club in any competitive match.

Green Eagles lost that game by a goal to nil thanks to a 69th minute Damiano Kola strike.

Green Eagles apparently, sent a complaint to FAZ over the use of the ineligible player.

Young Green Eagles have already been docked 3 points and have been relegated to the Eden National league following the use of Goalkeeper Philip Phiri against Nkana.

Should the Kawale Boys get the decision in their favor they will move up to 53 points and finish in third place while Kabwe Warriors will drop out of the top four slots.
