Graven Chitalu is back in the Zambian Super League after he left Mozambican club Ferroviario Maputo half way through his contract.
Chitalu who left Power Dynamos at the end of the end of the 2013 season has rejoined his old club Konkola Blades and was named in the starting line-up against Zesco United.
Chitalu is reported to have parted way with his employers in Mozambique on mutual consent after they failed to agree terms when he was given a downgraded contract.
Chitalu was Power Dynamos leading scorer in the 2013 season with 7 goals.
He will be looking to score in his first game against Zesco after he scored in both legs when Power Dynamos played the Ndola based side.

Welcome back home son!!Konkola Blades for life!!
Off topic, once again watching the ZPL is an eyesore. Just seeing the state of the pitches puts one off watching. Thanks to SS9 we are able to watch the league and it’s very embarrassing to say the least. The pitches are pathetic. Sure Zambia is plenty of water and manure (if they can’t afford fertilizer). Even Zimbabwe with all their economic problems their pitches are far much better than in Zambia. Even the sate of their league is better than the ZPL. Sure work culture in Zambia is very bad. Don’t even talk about the weather, because Zambia and Zimbabwe has the same weather pattern. It’s just poor working culture in the country.
