Chipolopolo coach Avram Grant will this afternoon name his squad for the four Nations joint tournament.
Kenya, Malawi, Zambia, and Zimbabwe last month agreed to hold a joint football tournament during the upcoming FIFA international window between 18-26 March 2024 in Lilongwe, Malawi.
Grant will name his squad in the next one hour in a press conference to be held at Football House.
Grant is expected to name a strong squad with a mixture of experience and youth to prepare for the June round of FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
The ZamFoot Crew understands that Grant may include a number of enterprising youngsters like Gift Siame of Atletico Lusaka who has been in fine form in the FAZ National Division One League.
A number of foreign based players and Super League stars are set to make up the spine of the squad.
Grant is expected to name the likes of Joshua Mutale, Luka Banda, Dominic Chanda and others who have been doing well in the MTN Super League.
Tanzania based duo of midfielder Clatous Chota Chama and striker Kennedy Musonda are expected to make the cut.
U-20 defender Sekanji Siame could make the cut as a wild card after his impressive run at Konkola Blades.
Malawi will host the four Nations tournament.
