MTN Super League side Nkana Football Club has confirmed contract extensions for players Patrick Gondwe, Oliver Lumbiya and goalkeeper Musonda Chiluba.
Gondwe and Lumbiya have penned two year deals that will see the Young Nkana graduates stay at Chilata until December 2027.
Meanwhile goalkeeper Musonda Chiluba has penned a three year deal which means he will stay at Chilata until December 2028.
“Nkana Football Club is pleased to confirm the contract renewals of midfielders Patrick Gondwe and Oliver Lumbiya, who have both committed their futures to the Club until December 2027, with options to further extend their stays.
The Club also confirms that goalkeeper Musonda Chiluba has signed a contract extension that will keep him at Nkana FC until December 2028, with an option to renew.”
The club says the contract renewals reflect the club’s confidence in the players’ contributions and importance to Nkana.
“These renewals reflect the Club’s confidence in the players’ contributions, professionalism and continued importance to Nkana FC’s long-term sporting project. Nkana FC remains committed to strengthening squad stability and competitiveness as the MTN Super League season continues.”
Nkana are currently 14th on the MTN Super League table with 13 points after 15 games.
