Evans Kangwa and Nkana agree mutual separation…As club decided against renewing contracts for Austin Banda and Monga Ndala

MTN Super League side Nkana and club legend Evans Kangwa have prayed ways after reaching a mutual separation agreement.

Nkana took to social media to confirm the development. Kangwa rejoined Nkana in September last year for a second stint, eleven years after initially leaving the club to join Israeli side Hapoel Ranaana.

“Nkana Football Club wishes to confirm that the club has mutually agreed to part ways with striker Evans Kangwa following the conclusion of his second stint at the club.

Popularly known as Kalulu, Kangwa returned to Nkana FC and provided the club with memorable moments on the pitch, maintaining his connection with the team and its supporters.”

Kangwa has thanked the team hierarchy and the fans for the opportunity to refresh my memories with the club that shaped who he is and helped him achieve what he has achieved in his career.

“My sincere appreciation goes to the Nkana FC Executive, the Technical Bench, my fellow players, and the ever-amazing die-hard fans for giving me the opportunity to refresh my memories,” Kangwa told Nkana Media.

“My return was a gesture of gratitude for the role the club has played in shaping who I am today and in helping me achieve much of what I have accomplished in my career. Nkana FC will always remain in my heart and will forever be deeply cherished.”

The club has since thanked Evans Kangwa for his professionalism, commitment and contribution during his time at Nkana FC and wished him success in his future endeavours.

Meanwhile Kalampa has confirmed that the contracts of winger Austin Banda and goalkeeper Monga Ndala have come to an end, and the club has decided not to renew their agreements.
