Zambian forward Gamphani Lungu snatched a late winner to guide Supersport United to hard-fought 1-0 win over Black Leopards.
Lungu started in attack alongside Bradley Grobler while Mwape Musonda led the attack for Lidoda Duvha. Supersport United was the first to settle and threatened early on with Grobler first heading wide before failing to beat King Ndhlovu who did well to narrow the angle.
Matsantsanta scored at the half-hour through Grobbler but his goal was disallowed due to a foul inside the box.
Mwape Musonda tried a long-range effort 20 minutes into the match and required Ronwen Williams to punch the ball back into action. Mwape had another chance to put Leopards in the lead but his header went wide.
In the second half, Matsantsanta was awarded a penalty but Grobbler failed to beat Ndhlovu in the Lidoda Duvha goal.
Supersport finally went up four minutes to time as Lungu pounced on a loose ball in the area to net the only goal of the game, Making it two goals in two games.
The win takes Supersport to third place with 47 points and just six adrift of log leaders Kaizer Chiefs with three games to play.
