South African based duo of striker Mwape Musonda and midfielder Donashano Malama have arrived in Blida to complete the Chipolopolo squad for Thursdays’ Cameroon 2021 AFCON qualifier against Algeria.
The duo who turn out for PSL side Black Leopards were the last two players to join the camp.
Other South Africa based stars Mwenya Cyril Chibwe, Justin Shonga, Augustine Mulenga, Salulani Phiri, and Lazarus Kambole with their DRC domiciled counterparts Tandi Mwape, Nathan Sinkala and captain of the side Kabaso Chongo arrived yesterday.
European based Evans Kangwa who plies his trade at Arsenal Tula in Russia and Tanzania based attacking midfielder Clatous Chota Chama also joined on Monday.
France based Stoppila Sunzu was the first to join camp among the foreign-based players as he teamed up with the local-based stars in Blida hours after their arrival.
Zambia takes on the AFCON holders this Thursday at the Stade Mustapha Tchaker in first of the qualification double-header that will also see them welcome Zimbabwe in Lusaka on November 18th at the National Heroes Stadium.
