Scotland based defender Frankie Musonda will start in central defence as Avram Grant plots Lesotho’s downfall on Thursday night.
The Ayr United centre back is expected to be partnered with either Tandi Mwape or Dominic Chanda in central defence.
“From the look of things, it’s about who wins the right to partner Frankie,” a ZamFoot Crew source said from Ndola.
“Avram has tried partnering either Tandi or Dominic with Frankie.
“But from the look it seems like Tandi will get the nod. Aaron Katebe also got a run out but the veteran will have to be contend with place on the bench or stands.
In the full back position Benedict Chepeshi and Rodrick Kabwe will start.
“The youngster [Teddy Khumalo] had a spell on the A-side but it’s seems like the coach has settled on Rodrick at left back.
What about on the right full back?
“Lubambo wasn’t tried there so it has to be Chepeshi.
Zambia face Lesotho with kick off at 6pm on Thursday.
