Chipolopolo coach Aljosa Asanovic has handed two players of Zambian descent their first call-ups for the national team.
Asanovic has named Scotland-based defender Frankie Musonda and his US based counterpart, Aime Mabika in his 23 member squad to face Congo Brazzaville and Guinea.
The Croat has named 23 players for this week’s trip to Turkey that will feature in two international friendly matches starting with Congo Brazzaville on Friday March 25.
In-form Israel-based striker Lameck Banda has also made a return for national duty following his impressive display at Maccabi Petah Tikva.
The Chipolopolo leave for Antalya, Turkey on Tuesday. Four foreign based players have joined camp in Lusaka ahead of departure.
The quartet are Clatous Chama, Gamphani Lungu, Klings Kangwa and Evans Kangwa.
