MTN Super League side Kabwe Warriors have confirmed the departure of four players including influential attacking midfielder Francis Banda.
Banda has left the club completing a permanent transfer away from the Magnificent People’s team. Banda has been a reported target for Champions Power Dynamos and Sensational ZANACO.
The others are Clement Mundia, Simon Tonga and Mundia Phiri who have all opted not to renew their contracts after they expired.
The club confirmed the development in a press statement availed to the ZamFoot Crew.
“Kabwe Warriors Football Club wishes to officially announce the departure of the following players from the team:
1. Francis Banda – sold and set to complete a permanent transfer away from the club
2. Clement Mundia – contract expired, the player opted not to renew
3. Simon Tonga – contract expired, the player opted not to renew
4. Munda Phiri – contract expired, the player opted not to renew.”
The club has thanked the foursome for their services and have wished them well in their future endeavors.
