Former Southampton striker training with Buffaloes

Emmanuel Mayuka looks to seal deal at Army side Green Buffaloes

2012 Africa Cup of nations Golden bout winner, Emmanuel Mayuka is currently training with Super League side, Green Buffaloes the ZamFoot Crew can reveal.

Mayuka was recently reported to have been in Turkey with Danish Superliga side SønderjyskE who were assessing him at their training camp. It seems things did not work out and the former England based striker is now looking to put pen to paper at Independence Stadium.

Green Buffaloes coach Bilton Musonda has been complaining about attacking options for some time now and hence the addition of an experienced AFCON winner will be a welcome move should they be satisfied with his physical state, commitment, discipline and dedication to the club.

The name Mayuka still haunts teams that Zambia faced at the 2012 AFCON especially John Boye and Ghana who were eliminated in the semi-finals by his solo strike, a beauty, something close to genius all concocted by the Kabwe Warriors product after coming on as a second half substitute.

The former Israeli based forward will be hoping to back to his lethal form that saw him earn a big move to English Premier league side Southampton and has seen him play in Switzerland and France .

    • He should get it at Buffaloes. He gets in a immediately go to military training, get a job.
I think best career is at Buffaloes and Green Eagles, the players can get a job and receive a stable salary. I doubt if Nkwazi and Red Arrows employee them as officers.
