Former Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur defender Steven Caulker will captain Sierra Leone on Tuesday against Zambia in a Morocco 2025 African Cup of Nations tie.
Caulker’s experience at the back will be vital against the Copper Bullets.
The 32 year old currently plays in the Turkish first division for Ankara Keçiörengücü Spor Kulübü.
He came through the ranks at Spurs and made 18 appearances.
Caulker then had loan spells before a big money move to Liverpool were he only made 3 appearances.
After featuring for England in the youth ranks, he switched to Sierra Leone and has made 14 appearances.
He was part of Monday’s training session at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium annex pitch.
The Leone Stars will have a feel of the pitch later tonight.
