Forest Rangers have appointed Mathews ‘Shebeleza’ Ndhlovu as the new head coach after partying ways with Ian Bakala who is away in Morocco on National Duty.
Ndhlovu will take over at Dola Hill with immediate effect. This comes after the club parted ways with Ian Bakala.
In 2007 Ndhlovu guided Forest Rangers to the Coca-cola Cup championship.
In his heyday as a player, Ndhlovu starred for Kabwe Warriors, Red Arrows, Railway Express and Bulawayo Highlands in Zimbabwe.
Bakala is out in Morocco with the Zambia U17 National Team who will kick off their TotalEnergies U17 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) campaign against Tanzania on Monday.
Forest are winless in their last 9 games and are fighting relegation. The Ndola based outfit are 16th on the log with 30 points after 29 games.
