The FAZ Eastern Province membership have elected a new executive committee with Patrick Nyirenda elected as chairperson after defeating incumbent Chrispin Kamuna.
Nyirenda polled 35 votes ahead of Kamuna who got 33.
The vice chairperson position went to Emanuel Chingende who amassed 43 votes ahead of Tresphord Phiri who polled 25.
The rest of the positions went to Lillian Vergeer, Chilekwa Matafwali and Clement Phiri who is women, youth and committee member respectively.
With Eastern Province electing new leadership all the 10 provinces have ushered in office bearers for the period 2025-2029.
FAZ will hold its elective AGM on Saturday in Livingstone at Fairmount Hotel.
