Flying Eagles sour over young Copper Bullets

Zambia Under-20 were given a reality check ahead of the Egypt U20 African Cup of Nations pre-tournament friendly match.

Chisi Mbewe’s side suffered a 4-2 defeat to the flying Eagles of Nigeria.

Power Dynamos full back Lombe Mutale and Green Eagles striker Derick Bulaya scored for Zambia.

Next stop for the Junior Chipolopolo will be Dakar against Senegal.

Zambia will face Tunisia, Gambia and Benin in the group stages in Egypt.

The tournament starts on February 19 with the top four countries qualifying to the World Cup.

    It’s a friendly match played with very few days to actual match . Evidently, most players would approach it casually.
