FC MUZA came from a goal down to thrash Nkana, Kalampa 5-2 at Nakambala Stadium in Mazabuka to effectively end Nkana’s dream of playing in continental football next season.
A Rickson Nga’mbi brace and a goal each from Given Kalusa, Andrew Phiri and Solomon Mpasela gave the Elegant Dynamites a well deserved win.
Lazarus Kambole and Idris Ilunga Mbombo scored the goals for Nkana.
Nkana were reduced to ten men eight minutes into the match after Patrick Chooma was sent off for a foul on Andrew Phiri.
The loss means Nkana’s chances of playing in the CAF Confederation Cup are now officially over as ZESCO United will officially represent Zambia in the second most prestigious club competition on the continent.
