Yasa Queens Head Coach Mervis Nachinga has said her side is very much ready for a stern challenge against Green Eagles who have been enjoying an upper hand in the previous meetings with the Helen Kaunda based outfit.
Speaking in an Interview with the ZamFoot Crew, Nachinga said she’s looking forward to a solid win when the two sides meet tomorrow in a Week 23 match in the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) Women’s League Lusaka Region.
“This Season in the first round we drew and we came from a goal down and definitely this time am not looking forward to a draw I want a solid win. It is an advantage because Eagles drew against Nkwazi on Wednesday so we really want to take our chances,” said an Energetic Nachinga.
Yasa Vice-Captain Patricia Lampi is expected to lead the defensive line covering Beauty in Goal.
The speedy Susan Mwansa and Melissa Mataba are expected to spring out some great runs on the wings while Natasha Mulenga and Ruth Ng’ambi will bring some experience to the party in the midfield.
Some players for Yasa are currently in Camp with Zambia Under 20 National Women’s Team preparing for the 2019 Cosafa Championship but this will absolutely have nothing to do with the result and Nachinga has declared her charges ready for the game.
“We are 110% ready and injury-free, the girls are in a good mood as you know some players are with the under 20 but we are very much ready,” Nachinga told the ZamFoot Crew.
The game will be played at Yasa Grounds in Helen Kaunda and Kick-Off is slated for 10:00hrs.

If not then upgrade the playing surfaces on these pitches.
