Green Buffaloes Women Football Club on Saturday morning cruised yet another win in the 2020/21 FAZ Women’s Super League Season after they Silenced National Assembly Women Football Club 2-0 in a rescheduled Week 16 encounter played at Green Square Ground in Arakan.
A goal in each half from the club’s top goal scorer Theresa Chewe was enough for Buffaloes to complete a double over the Parliamentarians and this means Chewe has now scored 6 goals against Assembly this season has been on the scoresheet four times in the reverse fixture played on 3rd April 2021 at the Showgrounds which ended 4-0 in favor of the Zambia army sponsored outfit.
The loss is the National assembly’s seventh of the season.
Buffaloes’ next assignment is a short trip to Edwin Imboela Stadium next mid-week in another rescheduled Match against High Flying Nkwazi Queens.
