The Football Association of Zambia, FAZ Referees Committee is set to punish the referee who handled the match between Kansanshi Dynamos and Napsa Stars over the weekend.
The unnamed referee awarded a contentious penalty to Kansanshi Dynamos.
The decision infuriated Napsa Stars coach Perry Mutapa such that he confronted the officials at half time.
Napsa Stars hierarchy are expected to make an official complaint to the referees committee.
Kansanshi Dynamos went on to win the match 1-0 thanks to a Dave Daka penalty.
Last month, unnamed referee was suspended following an incident at Godfrey ‘Ucar’ Chitalu Stadium which saw Kabwe Warriors denied a clear goal against Muza.
