The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) says it’s greatly saddened by the passing of Konkola Blades Chairman, Bernard Mwanza.
Mwanza died on Thursday morning. FAZ General Secretary Adrian Kashala has wished the family God’s guidance during this trying period.
FAZ has also conveyed its condolences to Copperbelt Division One side.
“We are greatly saddened by the death of Mr. Bernard Mwanza who has been a servant of the game for a long time. We mourn with the Konkola Blades and Nchanga Rangers families in this trying period,” Kashala told FAZ media.

Mwanza served as vice-chairperson for Nchanga Rangers Football Club from 2007-2010 before taking up the chairmanship at Konkola Blades from 2011-2014 and bounced back in 2019 to his passing.
The funeral for Mr. Mwanza is being held at 15. Kililabombwe, Kameza Township in Chililabombwe.
