FAZ decided to withdraw from hosting the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations edition after thorough consultations with the Ministry of Youth, Sport and Child Development.

are we going to develop in Zambia if we are scared to host such events?
Amarabish
Y’all should thank dictator Lungu for this. He will destroy Zambia like no man’s business. Y’all have not seen a thing yet. Lungu is calling all shots at FAZ and everywhere. Lungu is worthless and so is Kamanga for failing to host the cup without government involvement. We are 2 years away and these f00ls are claiming economic climate, meanwhile Lungu buys a new plane, wants to build a new state house, spends huge sums of millions to dubiously do some corrupt research to get out of the international criminal court? I hope all PF cadres suffers the most wrath of Lungu’s dictatorship. Useless people.
Who will face the CAF penalties? I recall when MOROCCO withdraw from hosting the 2013 AFCON they were banned from all international matches (FIFA) & huge penalties were imposed on them. Anywhere I stand to be corrected if there was no such! Hope it won’t happen to FAZ! I should suggest that if it may be possible to open it to soccer lovers to come on board and do some contributions; We can come up with atleast K500 thousand, then FAZ & Government to cutter the rest! I thank You all!
Who will ever take us seriously again. It will be difficult to regain this confidence show in us. We have shot ourselves in the foot. Cant blame Kamanga, with these tournaments CAF and FIFA ask for Government approval and support for local associations to host. If your Gvt is not in, there is nothing you can do and you wont be allowed to host.
Very funny indeed.
am not seeing any explanation here of the reason. all am seeing is the process which was taken
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, but we should ‘ve called upon our neighbors to help us in this case ka, by engaging them to share the burden with them eg Malawi, Zimbabwe, or DR Congo like what Gaborn & Congo did for AFCONmweeeeeeeeeeeee
Elo lwanyaa!!!!
