The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) reconvened annual general meeting (AGM) is on tomorrow – Saturday, 10th October at the government complex.
A notice sent to clubs by FAZ general secretary George Kasengele, indicated that the only item on the agenda is the Premier League restructuring.
The councilors are expected to endorse the new league structure proposed by FAZ.
The new Premier League will transform the present structure into four (4) streams of the First Division.
Each first division stream will have 16 teams and the streams will be divided as follows:
Zone One – Luapula, Copperbelt and North Western Provinces
Zone Two – Lusaka and Eastern Provinces
Zone Three – Northern, Central and Muchinga Provinces
Zone Four – Southern and Western provinces.
The Super League will also be expanded to 18 teams with two teams being relegated from the Super League at the end of the 2015 season.
The AGM will be held at the Government Complex and business of the day will commence at 10: 00 hours
18 teams at least its all better.
Electioneering has began! Sounds like bullshit to me. Logistically impossible for some teams to fulfil fixtures.

Luapula should have been with Northern, and Muchinga.
Whereas North Western with Copperbelt and Central.
It’s a good move though. It will expose rural football to the main stream, and expose a lot of talent from rural Zambia.

With Simata Simata,this is rubbish all he needs is to be the next FAZ President but why is he so hateful to Kalu? To me, running football is not a question of having a Degree in Business Administration but the way see things and the way handle them.I doubt if Simata has ever held bible to read about forgiveness and reconciliation.
