Below are some of the updates given by FAZ at the weekly media briefing:
1. FAZ “D” LICENCE.
The Football Association of Zambia will continue striving to better the standards of football in the country at all levels. The demand by many Zambians to be qualified coaches continues to rise and your Association has not remained idle.
In this respect, we are glad to announce the holding of FAZ D licence training here in Lusaka on 22 of May. This course will run for three days. Those wishing to participate can do so by paying the three hundred Kwacha registration fee. It is worth mentioning that these courses will be held every month. Your Association has also engaged the CAF on holding CAF B and C licence courses in June/July when the Zambia league goes on recess.
2. FIFA ELITE REFEREES/MATCH COMMISSIONERS’ COURSE.
FAZ and FIFA will on May 12-15 hold an Elite referees training course here in Lusaka. FAZ has called all those eligible referees to come and be part of this training. A total of 30 referees have been called among them Jimmy Phiri an 18 year old referee from Chipata. Out of these 30 referees, 8 are women.
We are also glad to announce that FIFA and FAZ will be training match Commissioners from the 11-12th of May. All these are efforts aimed at enhancing the quality of our football in the country

I am a 40 year old zambian working for National Assembly.My question is;am i eligible to enroll with FAZ for a referee course?If so,how do i go about it and when do i start the course?
