Lusaka Dynamos welcome Napsa Stars at Nkoloma Stadium in a week three Super League clash, Coming from a loss to Power Dynamos Lusaka dynamos were aiming for a win.
For Napsa Stars the hype was high following their recent exploits including a week two win over Newcomers Kansanshi Dynamos.
Thomas Banda and Bornwell Mwape led the attack for the Pensioners, Chris Mugala and Micheal Abraham’s for Lusaka Dynamos. Both teams were eager to take the lead but it was Napsa Stars that benefited from a Thomas Banda strike in the 45th minute which meant that Napsa went to Half Time leading by a goal.
The second half saw no Goals, But football stakeholders were left with some Beautiful football skills from Both teams. Congolese Striker Chris Mugalu was kept out of service as he was heavily monitored by Napsa defenders and saw less goal scoring Opportunities.
In the End, Napsa Stars grabbed all the 3 Points giving Lusaka Dynamos back to back loses and a 3 match winning streak for the Muhammad Fathi Coached Side.
Speaking to the Zamfoot Crew after the match Fathi expressed Happiness with the win.
“It is always hard playing away from home, This match was another difficult encounter but we kept pressing and pushing as a team and thankfully we got the important goal,” he said.
Fathi says the teams focus now shifts to the next fixture and assured some continued progress for the team.
The win lands Napsa Stars second position on the log with Zesco United still leading on goal difference while Lusaka Dynamos drops to 13th place.
