Fathi calls for focus as Napsa leaps out of relegation zone

Napsa Stars FC are finally out of the relegation zone with coach Mohamed Fathi saying the team still has to remain focused.

Napsa recorded their third win in a roll after beating New Monze Swallows FC 2-0 in a week 32 FAZ/MTN super league match played at Lwengu Sports Complex in Monze.

In a post-match interview, coach Fathi said he was happy with the victory and to finally see Napsa out of relegation, but also urged his side to keep on with the momentum.

He said the focus now is to pick more points in the remaining matches so that the team does not go back into the relegation zone.

“It was a tough game but we managed to win and maintain the momentum. I’m happy for both the players and supporters. But we still have to keep the momentum going and this is what I’m telling my boys.

Napsa now has 32 points from the 32 games played, and the team has moved two steps on the log from 17th to 15th position.

The team is scheduled to host Kabwe Warriors FC in the next fixture.
