Nine time MTN Super League Champions, ZESCO United are close to acquiring the services of Red Arrows duo of defender Happy Nsiku and winger Anthony Shipanuka, the ZamFoot Crew can exclusively reveal.
Green Eagles were the first team to express interest in Nsiku but ZESCO United have entered the race and are poised to land his services, The ZamFoot Crew understands.
Zega Mambo who are busy in the market as they look to reinforce ahead of the new season are keen to add the two youngsters to their roster, the ZamFoot Crew has learned.
Nsiku, a former Zambia U20 national team defender is expected to bring options at the heart of defense with Shipanuka bringing the much needed skill, flair, and pace on the wings.

Nsiku impressed fans last year despite the Chipolopolo Boys’ poor outing at the 2024 TotalEnergies African Nations Championship (CHAN) tournament in East Africa.
The MC Galaxy product joined the Airmen in August 2022 but has found regular game time hard to come by and mainly been a fringe player under Chisi Mbewe. The 21 year old is one of the best young prospects in the local league.
Shipanuka, an enterprising Winger is a former Nyimba United and City of Lusaka player.
He has been at Red Arrows since 2023 and was part of the Airmen side that won the 2024 CECAFA Kagame Cup.
