MTN Super League side Green Eagles have secured the services of attacking midfielder Penias Tonga, the ZamFoot Crew can exclusively reveal.
Tonga will join the Kawale Boys on a loan from Makeni All Stars for two seasons the ZamFoot Crew understands.
Meanwhile Mike Musukuma will not join the Kawale Boys after the deal to seal the forward collapsed. Eagles made the approach for both players but only Tonga will join the Choma based outfit.
Tonga was very influential in Makeni All Stars promotion to the Super League. He pulled the strings in the middle of the park.
Tonga will link up with former teammate Headson Paina who is already on the Kawale Boys roster. Coach Perry Mutapa is looking to heavily reinforce ahead of the new season.
Eagles finished sixth in the 2025/2026 MTN Super League season and will be looking to push for top two finish this season. Tonga will head to South Africa with Eagles for pre season later this week.
