Konkola Blades and FC MUZA have reached an agreement for the transfer of former Zambia U23 National Team forward Biston Banda the ZamFoot Crew can exclusively reveal.
Its Sharp Razor however, who have won the race to sign the former Buildcon and Power Dynamos forward, sources close to the deal have told the ZamFoot Crew.
Last summer Banda was a subject of interest from a team in Moldova and a team in Angola but the deal could not materialize.
Konkola Blades are returned to the table having earlier made an inquiry last summer over the availability of Banda who made 10 goals contributions for FC MUZA last season before his season was cut short because of an injury.
Banda came to prominence in the 2019 transitional league when he helped himself to seven goals and was an ever-present figure in the Circuit City starting line up.
Following the relegation of Circuit City, Banda trekked to Ndola to join Buildcon before being snatched by Power Dynamos.
Biston was also part of Coach Beston Chambeshi’s U23 national team squad that suffered a premature exit at the U23 AFCON tournament in Egypt in 2019.
