MTN Super League newcomers Konkola Blades have completed the acquisition of three players namely Stephen Mutama, Chris Mwansa and Moffat Nyirenda.
As earlier reported by the ZamFoot Crew, Mutama and Blades have now completed the formalities, and he is now a Blades player.
After completing the acquisition of Mutama on loan from Nkwazi, Konkola Blades have now sealed another move this time for defender Chris Mwansa.
The ZamFoot Crew can exclusively reveal that Blades and Mutondo have reached an agreement over the right back.
Mwansa had an impressive season with Mutondo stars scoring two goals and providing 11 assists in 3060 minutes in 34 games.
Blades have also completed the acquisition of goalkeeper Moffat Nyirenda from Mutondo Stars.
Nyirenda and Mwansa have started Bladesā Samuel ‘Zoom’ Ndhlovu Charity Shield encounter against Kansanshi Dynamos while Stephen Mutama is on the bench.
Blades recently unveiled nine new acquisitions led by Chipolopolo midfielder Kelvin Kapumbu as part of their rebuilding for the new season.
Former Zambia U20 National Team midfielder Boyd āTankerā Musonda is also among the players who were unveiled by Sharp Razor after ending his ten year stay at Sunset Stadium.
Striker Clive Biyeta from Mufulira Wanderers, winger Reagan Mtonga from Power Dynamos, and defender Simon Mulenga from Trident FC. They have all penned two-year permanent deals.
Others are last seasonās ZPL National League top goalscorer Golden Zansi and midfielder Benjamin Saeli from Riverplate.
Barts FC winger Martin Mweemba and defender Jackson Phiri who have penned three year deals like Zansi and Saeli.
Blades were in Mongu for a preseason 10 training camp before returning to play a number of friendly games against Chambishi, Roan United and Green Eagles.
