Midfielder Edward Tembo will leave the Magnificent people’s team Kabwe Warriors during this transfer window, the ZamFoot Crew can exclusively reveal.
Tembo who joined the Kabwe based outfit last season has attracted interest from three MTN Super League sides, the ZamFoot Crew has learned.
Tembo joined Warriors in September, 2024 as a free agent following City of Lusaka’s decision to sell their National Division One League status, thus dropping to the Lusaka Division Four League.
A return to Nkoloma Stadium could be on the cards for the former City of Lusaka captain. Tembo spent two seasons with the Airmen between 2021 and 2023. He won the 2021/22 Super League title with Red Arrows.
Two newly promoted MTN Super League sides have also expressed interest in the workaholic box to box midfielder.
The ZamFoot Crew understands that no agreement has been reached with any team yet as his team is still weighing the midfielders options.
Prior to that he had a successful stint with Buildcon and nine time MTN Super League Champions ZESCO United. During his stay at Zesco United, he won three league titles.
