Zambian Champions Power Dynamos hosted African Stars in the second leg of the CAF Champions League on Saturday at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.
With the encounter being a must win, Power Dynamos slashed the ticket prices to as low as K5 in their campaign to fill up the 40,000 capacity.
On match day the turn out was disappointing such that only about 9,000 fans managed to get tickets.
Compared to crowd [about 18,000] which watched the double header at Konkola Stadium, one would expect the lure of continental football was more attractive.
Power Dynamos Football Club managed to scrap through to the next round via a 2-2 aggregate against the Namibians.
The Ndeke based side will now face Tanzania’s Simba in the next round.
It will be interesting to see how many fans will be at Lusaka’s National Heroes Stadium on Sunday as Muza host Cano Sport of Equatorial Guinea.
