Chipolopolo forward Evans Kangwa scored a consolation goal in Qingdao Hainiu’s 2-1 loss to Shanghai Port.
Kangwa scored in the 72nd minute to reduce Shanghai Port’s lead after Wang Shenchao had netted a brace for the hosts.
The loss means Hainiu drop to 14th place on the 2022/2023 Chinese Super League table.
Shanghai Port on the other hand have moved up to second place on the log with 14 points,two behind log leaders Shanghai Shenhua.
Next up for Hainiu is Meizhou Hakka at the Qingdao Youth Football Stadium.
The goal is the Zambian international’s third of the season in the Chinese Super League.
