There were matches across Europe on Thursday night football with some Zambian players involved while others missed out.
There were two Conference matches and a Europa League match
Patson Daka’s Leicester City hosted Randers FC of Denmark while Fashion Sakala were in Germany at the famed Signal Iduna Park, home Borussia Dortmund.
Elsewhere in the Europa Conference Cup, Edward Chilufya’s Midtjylland welcomed Greek side PAOK in Denmark.

Zambian midfielder Enock Mwepu is a doubt for Brighton and Hove Albion this weekend’s English Premier League match against Burnley.
The Chipolopolo though was spotted in training on Thursday.

Scottish giants Rangers stunned Borussia Dortmund 4-2 in the first leg of the Europa League to earn an incredible 4-2 win over the Germany giants.
Surprisingly Zambian forward Fashion Sakala did not make the match day with unconfirmed reports filtering through that he was denied entry into Germany owing to him not being vaccinated.
Midtjylland 1-0 Paok FC – Is Tiger injured or not?
Zambian winger cum striker Edward ‘Tiger’ Chilufya was not part of Midtjylland’s squad which beat Greek side Poak 1-0 courtesy of a Joel Anderson goal.
Leicester City 4-1 Randers – Mr Europa Cup scores again
Zambian striker Patson Daka continued his fine form in Europa with another goal.
Striker Patson Daka was replaced by Nigerian striker Kelechi Iheanacho in the 65th minute.
