MAYBE there is something that fans are missing here.
For some reason, the match between Zesco United and Nkana this weekend has taken up some special significance for the Kitwe side’s coach Beston Chambeshi even if it will not decide anything immediately.
Chambeshi expects Saturday’s match at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola to be tough, but he nonetheless welcomes that, saying it will be a chance for his players to show their character.
Both Nkana and Zesco, who are only separated by two points and sit in third and fourth positions respectively, have not been wholly convincing this season.
However, Chambeshi says pressure will be on Zesco United when the two sides meet at Ndola’s Levy Mwanawasa Stadium on Saturday.

“We have just finished training and I am happy that we don’t have any injuries to worry about,” Chambeshi told the Zambia Daily Mail
“A game against Zesco United can never be an easy one, so we have to work hard to get what we want.
In the first round, Nkana beat Zesco United 1-0 to inflict damage on 9 times league winners.
