Zambian forward Enock Sakala Jr has left Kyrgyzstan side Abdysh-Ata Kant after just two months at the club.
Abdysh-Ata confirmed Sakala’s departure in a statement thanking the forward for his dedication, professionalism and contribution during his time with the club.
“We thank you for every match as a part of our team, dedication, professionalism and contribution to the success of the club,” the club said.
“We wish Enock success in his further career, new victories and great achievements.”
Sakala joined Abdysh-Ata in July after leaving United Arab Emirates side Gulf United, but his latest spell has now come to an end.
The 27-year-old has played for five clubs in five different countries since leaving ZESCO United in July 2024.
His recent spells have been:
- Modern Sport, Egypt — July 2024 to February 2025: 3 appearances, 0 goals
- Chippa United, South Africa — February to August 2025: 6 appearances, 1 goal
- Nkana, Zambia — August 2025 to February 2026: 5 appearances, 0 goals
- Gulf United, UAE — February to July 2026: 10 appearances, 4 goals
- Abdysh-Ata Kant, Kyrgyzstan — July to September 2026: 6 appearances, 2 goals
Sakala has scored seven goals in 30 appearances since leaving ZESCO United.
His most productive spell came during the 2023-24 MTN Super League campaign, when he scored 12 league goals for ZESCO United and finished second in the Golden Boot race behind Freddy Michael Kouablan, who scored 14.
Sakala will now assess his options as he looks for the next chapter of his career.
