Zambia Super League side, Green Eagles have announced the acquisition of two players in striker Emmanuel Mwaba and winger Ernest Mbewe.
Mbewe joins the Kawale Boys from Zanaco on a permanent basis and will add speed to their wing play.
“We are glad to announce the signing of Midfielder Ernest Mbewe from Zanaco FC on permanent basis.”
Mbewe was among Wedson Nyirenda’s best players at the 2018 African Nations Championship, known as the Total African Nations Championship (also referred to as CHAN 2018).
Mbewe made three assists at the tournament despite Zambia only reaching the quarter final stage.
Mwaba on the other hand was very crucial for Konkola Blades leading them to win promotion to the Super League in the 2020/2021 season.
Mwaba netted 13 goals in that campaign and is expected to add fire power to the Green Eagles strike force.
He will join the likes of Lineker Mwikisa and Derrick Bulaya in leading the Kawale Boys attack.
