Chipolopolo midfielder Emmanuel Banda has been nominated for the UEFA Europa conference League player of the week.
Banda put in an impressive performance to help Swedish side Djurgadens IF to a 3-2 win over FK Molde on match day 2.
The former Nchanga Rangers player scored and set up a goal to help Djurgadens record a hard fought victory.
Banda set up Amadou Doumbouya before scoring a beauty, beating a man before unleashing a ruthless strike into the bottom corner.
Banda is up against SK Dnipro’s Artem Dovbyk who braced his team to a 3-1 win over Apollon, Serder Gurler who netted a brace in Istanbul Basaksehir 3-0 win over Fiorentina and Koln midfielder Dejan Ljubicic.
