Zambian forward Edward ‘Tiger’ Chilufya was introduced in the 73rd minute to make his long awaited debut since the January transfer window from Swedish side, Djurgårdens.
The former Mpande Youth man penned a 5 year deal with ‘The Wolves‘.
He came on with Midtjylland leading 3-1 at home to Viborg in a Danish Super League encounter.
The Kasama native was given role on the right wing.
‘Chili’, as he is fondly referred to by his teammates made good movements and was alert inside the final third.
His final ball was a bit rasty having last played a competitive game in December last year in the Allsvenskan, Sweden’s top tier league competition.


In the end, Midtjylland held on for a 3-1 win thanks to a first half brace from Evander and and an early goal scored by Nikolas Dyhr.
Viborg grabbed what would be the consolation goal just before half time.
Following the result, Midtjylland remain in second position, just one point behind log leaders, FC Copenhagen [in action at press time].
The top two teams will face off in a crunch encounter next week Sunday, with only 2 games of the league season left to play.
Midtjylland need no introduction to many. They are a Danish side playing in Denmark’s top tier and regularly compete in Europe’s elite continenental club competitions, the UEFA Champions League, and UEFA Europa League.
