Former Kaizer Chiefs striker Lewis Macha has returned to Zambian Super League and joined Green Eagles.
The 30 year old has joined the club as a free agent.
The Maamba born was until recently playing in Zanzibar.
The former Zambia Under-20 striker is expected to lead the line for Eagles and add goals to the goal shy strike force.
Eagles have only scored 18 goals this season.
This will be the fourth Zambian Super League club the much travelled striker will be featuring for.
He has had spells at Nchanga Rangers, Zanaco, Power Dynamos and most recently Zesco United.
Abroad, Macha has featured for Royal Eagles, Baroka and Chiefs in South Africa.
He also worked with Wedson Nyirenda at Mozambiquean side UD Songo and Ferroviario de Maputo.
Macha’s elder brother Mathews also had spells at Zanaco and Nchanga Rangers.
Eagles have only picked up 2 points from the last possible 12 point and are 7th on the log.
The Tonka Twende side are on 28 points having won 8, drawn 4 and lost 8.
