Kingstone Mutandwa delivered another heroic performance in Austria, scoring a stoppage-time winner as SV Ried edged WAC 2-1 in the Austrian Bundesliga European playoff clash.
The Zambian forward completed his brace with a 92nd-minute strike after a thrilling finish to the encounter.
Mutandwa had initially fired SV Ried ahead in the 80th minute, but WAC responded almost immediately with an equalizer.
However, the in-form striker had the final say, restoring the lead deep into added time to hand his side a crucial victory.
The 23-year-old has now registered 16 goals and 3 assists in the Austrian Bundesliga this season, continuing to build a reputation as one of Zambia’s most clutch players abroad.
Mutandwa is currently on loan at SV Ried from Italian side Cagliari Calcio and is expected to return to the Serie A club once his loan spell in Austria comes to an end.
