The FAZ Division One Eastern Province enters week 12 of action this weekend with a doubleheader for two local derbies in the beautiful city of Chipata.
Smiling kids Academy hosts Army Sponsored side Panza Football Club in an early kick-off, 13:00 hours exactly while Second-placed Zesco Chipata of Munga locks horns with Chipata City Council football Club later at 15:00 hours, this is the first doubleheader to be played in FAZ Eastern Division One this season as four teams agreed to the proposal from one of the Chipata City Council Officials Mr. Maxwell who presented the initiative to the Exco who welcomed the idea and negotiated with the four teams involved.
This is a good idea looking at the distance between Old Beit ground and DK stadium where Smiling Kids uses Old Beit ground and Chipata City Council uses DK stadium instead of dividing these soccer fans better to bring them together at one venue which is David Kaunda stadium commonly known as DK Stadium.
All the fans who would love to watch this game will have to pay a little amount where Adults will be required to pay an entry fee of K5 whilst children will need to have a K3 for them to watch these two exciting derbies in the city.
Zesco Chipata is now a threat to every team as they have shown to the Province that they can make it to the playoffs and they are still unbeaten in the last ten games with nine wins and one draw only Sinda United managed to beat them in the first fixture of the season which was week three while Chipata City Council is also in good form still maintaining the fourth position.
It’s a game to watch when these two teams lock horns as they know each other very well.
Army Sponsored side Panza Football Club who will have an early kick-off at DK stadium have bounced back to winning ways after recording two consecutive wins and reclaimed their fifth position from Lundazi United who are also enjoying life in this new season.
Stubborn Smiling kids are no longer Stubborn this season but this weekend in a local derby they will show their stubbornness against their local rivals, Smiling kids have only managed to win one game out of eleven games with six draws and four defeats.
