The 2021/22 ABSA Cup will be dominated by defence sponsored teams after the confirmation of Nkwazi.
Following Zanaco’s 2-1 defeat to Red Arrows in a rescheduled League match on Friday, the Zambia Police sponsored claimed the last slot.
Zambian Super League leaders Green Buffaloes were the first one to qualify. The Zambia Army sponsored side was joined by Zambia Airforce side Red Arrows.
Choma based and Zambia National Service’s Green Eagles completes the team. Joining the four defence sides from the Super League are 6 times winners Zesco United and Nkana.

Arrows and Nkana have won once while Napsa have reached the final once.
Napsa Stars and Lumwana Radiants are the two sides from the National First Division.
Holders Lusaka Dynamos have not qualified.
