David Kabala and Andy Boyeli the Congolese goal machines take over Kitwe

Kitwe giants Nkana and Power Dynamos seem to have both invested well during the January transfer window with Andy Boyeli and David Kabala.

The Congolese duo have been in fine form in front of goal since joining their respective clubs.

Boyeli penned a two and half year deal with the Kitwe based outfit which will see him stay at Arthur Davies Stadium until 2025.

Since his witch from Chambishi, Boyeli has netted five goals and set up two in the last four games for Abayellow.

He has now even matched the man he was brought in to replace Kennedy Musonda as the leading goalscorer this season with 11 goals.

Meanwhile David Kabala has also been in fine form in Wusakile since joining the record 13 time Champions from JS Groupe Bazano (DRC).

Kabala has also netted five times and set up one goal for Nkana in four appearances.

After scoring in the 1-1 draw with Chambishi, Kabala went on to score in the 3-1 win over Nchanga Rangers and then the all important goal in the 1-nil home win over stubborn FC MUZA last weekend.

Kabala followed that up with a brace and an assist on Saturday. He was was involved in all three goals against Forest, after setting up Harrison Chisala for the opener he went on to net a brace.

Kabala was brought in as a replacement for Alex ‘Bazo’ Ng’onga who is now on the books of DR Congo giants TP Mazembe.

The first signs are really promising from the two strikers especially looking at the kind of goals they have been scoring.

We will wait to see how consistent they can be.
