Leicester City Manager Steve Cooper has confirmed that Chipolopolo striker Patson Daka has resumed group training.
The Zambian forward was sidelined following an ankle injury he picked in pre-season.
Daka is yet to make an appearance for the Foxes this season.
“Pato (Patson Daka) is back in training as well,” Cooper said during his pre-match press conference ahead of the Ipswich encounter.
Daka returned to the grass for the first time since August in early October starting light training.
The 25-year-old Zambia forward underwent surgery in Mid August after suffering an ankle injury in Leicester’s final preseason game with Lens.
It’s not clear whether the Zambian international will be part of the match day squad or it’s too early for him to be involved.
The Foxes are away to Ipswich this afternoon with the kick off set for 17h00 central African Time.
Great NEWS. Its a step in the right direction.
