Daka expected to lead Foxes’ attack in Merseyside

Zambian forward Patson Daka is expected to return to the starting lineup this evening as Leicester City visit Goodison Park.

Daka came off the bench in the 1-0 loss to Manchester City last weekend.

The Zambian International has started several away games in the recent past and is likely to lead the attack this evening in Merseyside.

Jamie Vardy started against Man City, but the former Kafue Celtic man has been the more lethal striker this season, and regularly starts in games away from home, so it is likely the Zambian will come back into the team.

Daka has already scored three goals this season two of which have come away from home.

Only James Madison (6) and Harvey Barnes (4) have scored more goals for the Foxes so far this season.

A narrow defeat to champions Manchester City at King Power Stadium proceeds Saturday evening’s trip to Goodison Park, as the Foxes face Everton in a 5:30 pm kick-off, aiming to start the month on a positive note.

Saturday’s encounter with the Merseyside club is Leicester’s penultimate Premier League match before the FIFA World Cup, with West Ham United up next on Saturday 12 November and a Carabao Cup Third Round tie at home to Newport County in between.

Predicted City line-up (4-3-3): Ward; Castagne, Amartey, Faes, Justin; Soumare, Tielemans, Dewsbury-Hall; Maddison, Daka, Barnes.

Subs from: Iversen, Thomas, Evans, Soyuncu, Vestergaard, Ndidi, Mendy, Praet, Albrighton, Perez, Iheanacho, Vardy.
