The Foxes are facing the Sky Blues at King Power Stadium, with Sunday’s 13h00 CAT kick-off a chance to start the Sky Bet Championship campaign in a positive manner in front of home support under the new Manager Maresca.
Daka will hope to have a better season in the Championship than he had in the English Premier League last season.
Daka, Jamie Vardy and Kelechi Iheanacho will continue to lead the Foxes attack with James Madison and Harvey Barnes having left the club together with Youri Tielemans.
The Zambian international will want to hit the ground running and help Leicester City get back to the Elite League.
Meanwhile Conor Coady and Victor Kristiansen are set to be Leicester City’s only absentees for the season opener against Coventry City, Enzo Maresca confirmed on Friday.
City are favourites to return to the Premier League at the first time of asking, with many experts tipping the club to not only earn promotion, but to win the Championship in the upcoming season.
