Indeni football club head coach Dabid Chilufya was left feeling very happy, proud, and impressed with his Boys on Saturday afternoon as they fought back to rescue a point away in Kafue despite being two men short.
Chilufya was very happy with the draw saying a point in such a game was a plus for his side. Next up for the Oilo men is Team Kopala, Buildcon, and Chilufya is targeting an outright win.
“I thank the Boys they have done well even when they gave us Red cards they stood firm and scored otherwise if we did not have red cards we would have done better,” he said.
“The intimation starts from the beginning and you know that football is about the mind hence players become cautious and for sure they gave us red cards and they is nothing we can do, That penalty gave them is a clear penalty but the referee must also help even the other team.”
“Away you get one point in this type of a game its a plus, these are the ones who are behind. We going to polish up and go for a win in the Buildcon game,” he added.
Andrew Phiri put Young Eagles in the lead in the 60th minute from the penalty spot before Indeni were reduced to nine men with Graven Chitalu and Clement ‘Jakuzi’ Mulenga was sent off. Indeni however fought back to rescue a point with Moses Soko scoring at the death.
