Kafue Celtics Football Club yesterday, Thursday, October 24th beat Zesco Malaiti 5-1 in the Eden University National League to maintain top spot.
The crocs started like a house on fire and dominated proceedings from the first whistle. Zambia U-20 national team striker Francisco Mwepu opened the scoring in the 20th minute and grabbed his brace just before the half time with Albert Kangwanda providing the assist.
The second half was basically the same as the first with the crocs commanding the midfielder through young Malian international Alassane Diara. Pumulo Simwanga scored the third with Mwiza Siwale grabbing the fourth goal for the crocs. Zesco malaiti had a chance to pull one back from the penalty spot but Sydney Simukanzye could not convert from twelve yards.
Young enterprising Albert Kangwanda grabbed his goal and Kafue Celtics fifth in 80th minute, Chikonde Chipampe scored a late goal for Zesco Malaiti but it was little too late for a comeback.
